Western Nebraska Bank's Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, and eStatements are all NEW! You will need to download the new Mobile App and re-register for online Bill Pay and eStatements starting October 10th. Important Note: When you login to the new Online Banking system, your User Login ID will remain the same; however, your temporary Online Banking password for the initial login will be the last four digits of your Social Security Number or Tax ID Number. Please note that you will need to change your password during your initial login and you may be prompted to setup your PassMark image and Security Questions again. eStatements will not be converted and will need to be set up again. If you do not re-enroll, you may begin receiving paper statements. Your payees and scheduled payments set up for Bill Payment will remain the same. However, please review the addresses listed for payees to ensure the most recent one for each is reflected. · •AAfter successfully logging in to Western Nebraska Bank Online Banking, enroll for Mobile Banking by selecting Settings>Mobile Settings. Mobile Banking can be accessed in a number of different ways: SMS Text Messages, Mobile Browser, Android App, iPhone App, and iPad App. Once enrolled for Mobile Banking, you can enroll for Mobile Deposit for iPhone® or Android™ and begin making deposits with your mobile device at your convenience. Complete the enrollment by visiting As an Western Nebraska Bank Online Banking customer, you will be able to initiate outgoing FI (Financial Institution) to FI Transfers allowing you to move your money from your Western Nebraska Bank accounts to those you have at other financial institutions. FI to FI Transfers must be setup and verified from within Online Banking. Please make note of the important changes listed above. Sandhills Public Schools started serving locally raised Sandhills beef at their school this week. Western Nebraska Bank donated $1,000 towards processing to support this project. "We are excited to be part of an agriculture benefit to our community and area students. Two of the most important things in the Sandhills are our youth and our beef, and both hold our future. Our youth deserve to have their meals prepared with the best beef in the world, and Western Nebraska Bank is proud to support the initiative to get this accomplished at Sandhills Public Schools," says Michelle Milleson, Vice President in Purdum. Western Nebraska Bank welcomes Wade Shipman as our new Assistant Vice President/Ag Lender in Curtis. Shipman grew up on a Dairy farm in Ohio before joining the United States Marine Corp. He then went on to graduate from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in May 2014 with a degree in Agriculture Business Management & Finance. During his attendance at NCTA he also worked for Weeth Feedlot near Curtis, NE. Most recently, Shipman has been working for FirsTier Bank in Holdrege, Nebraska as a Consumer Loan Officer and Agriculture & Commercial Loan Assistant.


North Platte, NE – Western Nebraska Bank welcomes Kema Scheer as our new Personal Banker/Loan Clerk in North Platte. Scheer grew up on a family ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills near Elsmere, NE. College took her to Oklahoma where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in 2006. Most recently, Scheer has worked for Bank of the Panhandle in Guymon, OK as a Personal Banker.

Western Nebraska Bank donates to Mid-Plains Community College

Officials from Mid-Plains Community College accepted a $10,000 donation from Western Nebraska Bank Monday morning at the bank, to help pay for recent renovations to the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on the South Campus.
